It’s a stretch for Sweet Tee to proclaim “she’s the best female rapper,” but I gotta say, her frustration is understandable. She was part of a legion of female rap music artists that included MC Lyte, Antoinette, Salt N’ Pepa, Roxanne Shante, Sister Souljah, Queen Latifah, Yo Yo, and a few others. Now you don’t hear those artists on the radio anymore, maybe Lil’ Kim and/or Remy now and then, but the entire rap/hip-hop genre is dying and it’s because of “Crank Dat Soulja Boy.”

Dj Mike in Atlanta Ga. I’m from that oldskool time frame when Sweet, Steady B,Salt & Pepa, and many others were puttn it down and I have always argued with my dj counter parts that Sweet Tee was ahead of her time and she has my support. She’s the best female rapper I had heard and u can’t deni the big picture style she had back in the day.I’m lookn forward to new music.(It’s Tee Time Again)
